Dr. Sangwoo Ham, D.M.D.

Welcome to the practice of Dr. Sangwoo Ham, an experienced and dedicated dentist specializing in oral surgery, implantology, and cosmetic dentistry. A Coquitlam native, Dr. Ham earned his Doctorate of Dental Medicine (D.M.D.) from the University of British Columbia after completing a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacology with Honors. He is a registered practitioner with the College of Dental Surgeons of BC, the Canadian Dental Association, and the BC Dental Association.

Dr. Ham has completed the Implant Mastership Program at the Bites Institute, where he now serves as a key instructor for their Comprehensive Implant Residency program, helping to train fellow dentists in advanced implantology techniques. As a Key Opinion Leader for MegaGen, an internationally recognized implant company, Dr. Ham lectures around the world on the latest innovations in implant dentistry.

In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Ham has spoken at workshops and conferences across Rome, New York, South Korea, South Africa, and Romania, teaching dentists from all over the world. He has also published articles on immediate implant therapy, contributing to the advancement of modern dental care.

Committed to serving his community, Dr. Ham volunteers his time at a dental clinic in Vancouver’s Downtown Eastside. Fluent in both English and Korean, he is dedicated to providing personalized, comfortable care to every patient.

Outside of dentistry, Dr. Ham enjoys playing soccer and basketball and spending time with his wife, Jennifer, who is a local pharmacist.
