Krista Registered Dental Hygienist Krista is the latest team member to join our Smiles Unlimited Dental Hygiene department. Krista’s foray into Dental Hygiene began in 2000 when she attended the University of the Fraser Valley and completed the Certified Dental Assisting program. Upon completion she began working in the dental field and eventually would amass 8 years of experience as a CDA. During her time as a CDA she was afforded two fabulous opportunities to travel to Ghana, West Africa for volunteer dental missions. It was during her second trip to Ghana that Krista decided to return to school for a Dental Hygiene diploma. Krista earned her diploma from UFV in June of 2009 and shortly after began working at Smiles Unlimited. The welcoming and professional staff here at Smiles Unlimited has made her time here extremely enjoyable and gratifying. As a Hygienist, Krista enjoys meeting new people every day, connecting with her patients and educating people about dental health. When Krista is not working, she enjoys running, baking and spending time at home with her husband and her cat, Seymore. Originally from small town Saskatchewan, Krista still likes to leave home and explore new territory every now and then with a good old camping trip. |
