Attention Teachers:

In order to promote dental awareness in our community, we would like to invite your students to take a tour of our dental clinic. While many children may have already been to the dentist’s office, few, if any, have had an opportunity to get a hands-on, behind-the-scenes tour.

Our office has been providing this free service to local school and community groups for more than 10 years with great success! We are confident that you and your students will enjoy this fun, hands-on educational experience! Supplement your class curriculum, celebrate Dental Health Month (April), or come on out just for the fun of it!

Tour Details:

• Your visit will last approximately 30-45 minutes.
• Students will receive instruction about: 1) clinic safety rules, 2) basic oral hygiene, and 3) healthy foods and snacks.
• One student will be selected to participate in a brief dental exam and polishing demonstration.
• Students will then have an opportunity to operate some of the equipment! (Press buttons, spray and suction, look at x-rays, receive a fingernail polish and dental chair ride!)
• At the close of your tour, every student will receive a goody bag (containing things like a toothbrush, dental floss, and toy)!!
• All tours are conducted by a Certified Dental Assistant.
• Parents are more than welcome to accompany their children!
